Using Dhaga
Settings & import
The Settings page — billing, 2FA, calendar, suggestions, card-photo storage, voice engine, API keys — and importing your contacts from a CSV.
/app/settings is where you tune how Dhaga behaves and connect it to the
rest of your tools.
What you can configure
- Billing — your plan and usage.
- Security — two-factor authentication (2FA) for your account.
- Calendar — connect Google Calendar so Dhaga can work against your schedule.
- Suggestions — the daily reach-out suggestions and digest that feed your Home briefing.
- Card photos — whether the original card image is kept after a scan.
- Voice input — which speech-to-text engine transcribes your voice notes.
- API keys — personal access tokens for the API and the browser extension, and for scripted exports.
Some sections depend on configuration
Billing only appears when the instance has Stripe configured, and calendar/ email features need their providers wired up. On a plain self-host several of these sections are intentionally absent — see Self-hosting.
Import your contacts
The Import contacts section brings an existing address book into Dhaga from a Google or LinkedIn CSV export. The file is parsed in your browser — it doesn't get uploaded somewhere to be processed — and the parsed people land in your graph ready to enrich with notes.
